Emmy 2014 - Le Nominations

La data da segnare è il 25 agosto, quando i premi Emmy verranno consegnati e si saprà chi nel mondo del piccolo schermo ha saputo fare meglio degli altri.

La lotta quest'anno vede due fuoriclasse competersi le statuette più ambite (miglior serie drama e migliori attori), ovvero Breaking Bad -al suo ultimo anno- e quel sorprendente True Detective che potrebbe permettere a Matthew McConaughey una bella doppietta dopo l'Oscar per Dallas Buyers Club. 

Il lato femminile vede inspiegabilmente l'esclusione di Emmy Rossum di Shameless e della trasformista Tatiana Maslany di Orphan Black tra le candidate, a favore del fantastico cast di Orange is the New Black e della bravissima Lizzie Caplan di Masters of Sex. Buoni i numeri anche di House of Cards, che conferma l'ottimo lavoro all'interno della Netflix, e finalmente anche Game of Thrones torna ad aggiudicarsi importanti categorie (primo fra tutti miglior attore non protagonista per Peter Dinklage).

Sempre presenti l'inossidabile Mad Men, il sopravvalutato Downton Abbey e il buon Girls.

Infine, guardando alle miniserie, spopolano American Horror Story: Coven, Fargo e The Normal Heart, con tutti i pronostici a favore di quest'ultima.
