Emmy Awards 2012 - Le Nomination

Quando i film si fanno ad episodi - Speciale

Chi riuscirà quest’anno a scalzare il primato di Mad Men, che dal 2009 fa incetta di premi agli Emmy awards? Lo scopriremo il 23 settembre, quando in serata verranno consegnate le prestigiose statuette. Se il telefilm sul mondo pubblicitario ha al suo attivo 17 candidature, non da meno sono Downton Abbey, la serie ambientata nell’età edoardiana che ha ottenuto ben 16 nomination, 17 invece per American Horror Story al suo esordio. Se a farla da padrone nel filone drammatico ci sono anche Boardwalk Empire e Breaking Bad (che torna con 13 nomination dopo la pausa dello scorso anno), il genere comico è dominato da Modern Family (14 nomination), The big bang theory e la nuova sit-com interpretata da Zooey Deschanel New Girl. Per quanto riguarda i nomi grossi prestatisi al piccolo schermo, spuntano Clive Owen e Nicole Kidman per la miniserie TV Hemingway and Hellhorn presentata a Cannes e Uma Thurman in Smash.
